Traditional listing brokers charge up to 6% of the sale price to list your property, while Saveestate charges a flat fee plus 0.25% to 0.5% saving you thousands of dollars.

Is there a monthly fee after I pay the flat fee?

No, there are no monthly fees. You pay a one-time flat fee to have us list your home in the MLS plus a small compliance fee (0.25%-0.50%) once the house sells.

Do I still need to pay a buyer’s agent commission?

Buyer’s Agents are required to have Buyer’s Agents agreements with the buyers they represent. These agreements spell out compensation that the buyer would owe if the Buyer’s Agents procures them a home. It is up to the seller whether they want to pay for that compensation through a buyer’s concessions. This would be negotiated during the offer period.

Can I upgrade my package later?

Yes, you can purchase additional features or upgrade your package at any time prior to the house selling.

Can I purchase additional photos or extended listing terms?

What is the compliance fee for?

The small compliance fee of 0.25% (0.50% for the Gold package) will apply when your property sells. This fee covers our costs of ensuring compliance with State Laws, MLS rules and regulations. It’s important to note that this compliance fee is significantly less than 1%, making it a cost-effective option for sellers.

How do I calculate the compliance fee for my house?

Calculating the compliance fee is simple:

Platinum & Platinum Plus Listing Packages: [Estimated Sale Price] x 0.0025

Gold Listing Package: [Estimated Sale Price] x 0.005

For every $100,000 of your estimated list price:

Platinum & Platinum Plus package customers pay $250

Gold Listing package customers pay = $500

This is a significant saving compared to traditional real estate listing fees, which are around $3,000 per $100,000.

What is the best listing package for me?

The best package depends on your needs and preferences. Our Platinum Listing Package is the most popular and ideal for most sellers with properties valued over $100,000. For first time sellers, or sellers looking for more supportive services, consider the Platinum Plus package.

Are there any hidden fees?

No hidden fees! No hidden fees! Costs are listed on our pricing table, including the flat MLS listing fee and a small compliance fee (0.25%-0.50%) upon sale. Any state-mandated fees will be disclosed before the checkout process.

How do I price my house for sale?

Saveestate offers an Automated Valuation Model (AVM) tool for property price estimates. Powered by Realtors Property Resource (RPR), it uses data from nearby, similar, and recently sold homes. A Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) is also available for an additional fee. Contact us for more details!

Does Saveestate provide Yard Signs?

Yes, our Platinum+ package includes a professionally designed Yard Sign. For all other packages, Yard Signs are available for purchase through our website or your dashboard. These Pro Yard Signs include a durable plastic corrugated panel where you can add your phone number and are displayed using a heavy-duty plastic stake.

The Yard Sign is provided with a $49 shipping and handling fee. Delivery typically takes 5–7 days, and tracking information will be provided when available. Please note that Yard Signs are non-refundable, and Saveestate does not install them.

Does Saveestate provide Lock Boxes?

Yes, we offer a Combination Lock Box, a standard tool used by REALTORS®, designed to securely hold keys to your property. Homes equipped with a lock box are often shown more frequently, making it easier for agents to access the property.

The Lock Box is provided with a $49 shipping and handling fee. Delivery typically takes 2–3 days, and tracking information will be provided when available. Please note that Lock Boxes are non-refundable, and Saveestate does not install them.

Does Saveestate offer home photography services?

Yes, Saveestate offers professional photography as an optional add-on service in most areas. Through our network of partners, we have negotiated a lower-than-market rate, and pass those savings on to you. High-quality images are essential for attracting potential buyers, as homes with visually appealing photos tend to sell faster and at higher prices. When you select a flat fee MLS listing package, you can choose to include photography services to showcase your property in the best light. If you prefer, you can also use your own photos, ensuring they meet MLS quality standards.

Can I add a video to my listing?

Yes, we offer an upgrade for you to add a video that you produced. The cost for this upgrade is $40. You can send us the video link via [email protected]. Most MLSs will accept only Vimeo or Matterport 3D (not YouTube). Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions. Also, please note that your video is subject to the same MLS rules as your pictures so no contact information or words please.

Can I list my home in an additional MLS?

To increase exposure to more REALTORS®, brokers, and buyers across multiple counties, you can list your property in an additional MLS. This is especially beneficial if your property is near a county border.

Each state has several MLSs covering different regions, and many agents access multiple MLSs. The cost for adding your property to an additional MLS is $99. We’re here to help if you have questions regarding if an additional MLS is right for you.

Can I list my Rental Property in the MLS?

We do not offer rental listings.

Can I list a Commercial Property in the MLS?

No, we only handle residential listings. For commercial properties, we recommend working with a commercial real estate broker and can provide referrals if needed.

Can I list land for sale in the MLS?

Yes, Saveestate supports MLS listings for land, vacant lots, and other property types.

Can I cancel my listing at any time?

Yes, as long as your property does not have a pending contract or active offers, you can cancel your listing at any time by submitting a support request through our website. There are no termination fees or penalties, even if you cancel before the expiration date. However, no refunds will be provided once your property has been listed in the MLS.

Is Saveestate a For Sale By Owner (FSBO) Service?

While traditional For Sale By Owner (FSBO) relies on the homeowner to market their property independently, Saveestate’s MLS service offers a more powerful solution. With our service:

Your property is listed in the MLS, the same platform real estate agents use to market homes, ensuring greater visibility.

You save on high realtor commissions while still gaining access to professional-grade brokerage support and marketing tools.

You have the flexibility to manage your own pricing, and showings, but with the added benefit of MLS exposure that attracts more buyers and agents.

In essence, our service bridges the gap between a fully independent FSBO approach and the reach of traditional real estate marketing.
